Ambassador John Beyrle

John Beyrle is a career Foreign Service Specialist. He served as Ambassador to Russia from July 2005 to April 2008 under George W. Bush, then again from July 2008 to January 2012 under Barack Obama. He retired from the State Department in 2012 and has since been working with several non-profit organizations, including the U.S.-Russia Foundation.Free and open to the public.
