Celebrating 75 Years of Fulbright.jpg

The event will include personal stories and performances by some of the Fulbright Program's most extraordinary alumni, including recent participants and those who have had long and distinguished careers. The celebration will highlight the Fulbright Program's impact in five important areas: the environment; education; public service; science, technology, and public health; and the arts.

The evening will feature a special greeting from U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, as well as performances by gifted trumpet player Sam Nester and the remarkable Alito Alessi and his DanceAbility International performers. The program will include more than 40 Fulbright alumni and officials appearing live on stage or via specially recorded remarks, including Renée Fleming, Rita Dove, Ruth Simmons, Daniel Libeskind, Javier Solana, Brandon Jacob Jenkins, university presidents and scholars, members of Congress, foreign government ministers, leading conservationists, and public health professionals who were on the front lines against COVID-19.
