The American Grand Strategy Program will welcome the Executive Director of the Vandenberg Coalition, Carrie Filipetti for a talk on the Latin America and Latin American issues. Before joining the Vandenberg Coalition, Ms. Filipetti served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Cuba and Venezuela in the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs and as the Deputy Special Representative for Venezuela at the U.S. Department of State. She has worked extensively in Latin America and on Latin American Affairs. She will be holding a small group session from 3:00 - 4:00 PM before her talk.
