The Ernest Gellner Lecture this year will be delivered by Duke Professor Prasenjit Duara on 'Nationalism and the Crisis of Global Modernity,' on Monday, April 5th at 11:00 AM EST.

The Zoom event is only open to ASEN conference participants, but the lecture will be livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube and accessible to all. 

Prasenjit Duara is the Oscar Tang Chair of East Asian Studies at Duke University.
