On April 16, 2021, the Meridian Diplomacy Forum welcomed "550 diplomats, global affairs practitioners and next generation international relations professionals." The forum, titled: The Path Forward: Strengthening American Statecraft, dived into the crucial role that diplomacy plays in America’s efforts to solve our shared worldwide challenges.

The Duke Center for International and Global Studies, a proud partner of the Meridian Forum, took part in the afternoon sessions with some members of our Rethinking Diplomacy team.

Duke University's Krishna Udayakumar (Director, Duke Global Health Innovation Center) was among the speakers this year in the segment Diagnosing the Chronic Effects of Global Health in Diplomacy.

Check out this recap, with an opportunity to watch all eight program segments through the Forum's YouTube channel.
