At a DUCIGS event, Harvard Professor Michael Sandel denounced what his new book describes as a corrosive view of success, "The Tyranny of Merit.” 

Professor Sandel was joined by Duke University's Judith Kelley, Michele Longino, Malachi H. Hacohen, and Gopal Sreenivasan, Crown University Distinguished Professor in Ethics. 

This event was organized by the Duke University Center for International and Global Studies and co-sponsored by the Sanford School of Public Policy, Religions and Public Life @ the Kenan Institute for Ethics, and POLIS: Center for Politics at Duke University.
