Funding for Conferences and Workshops

Fulltime Duke undergraduate and graduate students can apply for support from the Duke University Center for International & Global Studies (DUCIGS) to attend conferences or workshops with a strong global/international component. Awards for this competition average between $250 and $400, depending in part upon the location of the event.

  • DUCIGS will accept and consider these applications on a rolling basis between August 15 - February 15 of each academic year.
  • Upon receipt of your application, turnaround time for decision & award payout may take up to four weeks.
  • Applicants are strongly encouraged to seek additional sources to ensure sufficient funding to carry out your request.

Complete the application and send the supporting documents to Amanda Frederick.
